DeLand Sport Aviation Showcase is thrilled to announce EAA and Aircraft Spruce have joined forces to present two workshops daily at the 2nd annual DeLand Showcase, November 2nd – 4th at the DeLand Municipal Airport in beautiful DeLand, Florida.
Get hands-on and learn basic composite and sheet metal skills needed to build an airplane at the daily EAA Workshops.
Patterned after the highly successful EAA SportAir Workshops, these workshops let you experience a taste of aircraft building and cover a gamut of tasks including sheet metal construction and riveting, and composite lay-up.
EAA SportAir Workshops Instructor John Brecher will lead you step-by-step through hands-on lessons, giving you the necessary skills and information to get started or take the next step in your home building project. In addition, the always delightful and knowledgeable Charlie Becker—the man with the mic—and EAA Director of Chapters and Homebuilt Community Manager, will be on hand to answer all your EAA and aviation questions. Watch the Showcase Forums schedule for additional topics Becker will present during Showcase 2017.
The cost to attend the EAA Workshops at the 2017 DeLand Showcase is included with admission and no reservations are required. All workshop sessions are on a first-come basis.
